Nice work, Bruce. I like both of those images, but the second one is especially good in my eyes. The color, composition, and use of fast shutter speed all work together very well as far as I am concerned. My first reaction was that the second image would have been even better in a square format, but after looking at it again I'm not certain that this would be true.

With best wishes,

Thanks Tom,

I've had a CZ135 f1.8 on my A900 for a couple of months now and just can't bring myself to take it off. Both of the photos above at least in part demonstrate why. You can stick with super fast shutter speeds in very low light. It's so good that I often find myself having to put a couple of ND2 filters in front of it during the day because at 1.8 with the sun out the cameras fastest shutter (1/8000) overexposes the shot!!

Happy to have the problem though

Yeah I liked that water droplet shot as well. (Should instigate a handicap system for people with A900's and CZ135's I think)
Just kidding...
Greg

ps. That 'period' First Nation Church looks like it goes back a while DA.

Bruce,
I will pile on as well. The water drops in the sunset shot is really special. Just goes to show you that beauty is all around us. We just have to have our eyes open.

Thankyou Gents,

Doc, I think you can be forgiven, even at 100% you need to look twice. He might be a good volleyballer, but a foot model he ain't!

Count the toes in this one 8)
