It's alright really, you can alliterate as many times as you like. In fact I haven't used or heard anyone use the word 'alliteration' for quite a long time and it was a good reminder. I even used it in a sentence myself to revive its usage ...

I certainly can't match any photo to the beauty in yours though. Hardly any green or preserved natural environment within the borders of the city. You know the old story, corruption in the municipalities fed the 'thieves' that come in the shape of contractors, who are beggars for any type or amount of money...

I envy your environment very much...and the seals and the herons ...and the birds...and trees...and what nots that make nature a wonder!

You did well there to get that depth of sharp focus in that light Yildiz...good photography. You can notice that tungsten WB, but that's ok, it goes with the territory just fine, it's how one would expect it to look.
I nearly had a double take when I saw those, what look like prawns (shrimps), out in the open, then I realized (silly me), it's 1 deg. C there, they'll keep ok at that temperature for a long time. I'm so used too conditions here, wherever prawns are on sale they have to have them in a chiller type display under glass, or embedded in ice...and all the other type of seafood as well, seafood can spoil very easily here...What we need is a long pipe from there too here and a fan so you can blow some of that nice cool down here

Thank you, shooting where there are bulbs, bright sunlight and creatures with reflective skin can take its toll on the overall value of light and colours.

The fan in the next room definitely won't do the job...have to think up a NASA-Type model and engage the enthusiastic scientists who'll be willing to come on a managable budget ...

Those are indeed shrimps. Here's a little info to put your mind at ease on how the fish are preserved fresh out in the open. You see that green coloured plastic cover on the slanted counter? There's layers of ice blocks or chippings under it which keep the creatures cool and nice until they are all sold by noon. Then the vendors go to the chillers that are in a different corner and take out new cases of fish to lay them on the counter for display.

The restaurants and the customers soon will clear these fish anyway...Everyone loves a good hot fish dish for lunch! Especiall when the weather is chilling and it'll feel great to bite into crispy, fried fish and all...

Lovely blues and neat waterland with that grand mountain range as always... A seagull in flight is a call for freedom and this photo is very peaceful.

The A550 is very nice in performance especially when capturing creatures in motion.

Weather fine here for the past few days. Sorry no time for photo's. 28 C 62% 20km/h SE
We do have a Tropical Cyclone Alert active at the moment...the forecast track doesn't look too good. (right now you wouldn't know it was out there, except for the odd funny little gust that ruffles the trees), wish us luck.

That's a neat contrast! The derelict hangar and building vs. the new white building. Must be an interesting area. A good time of day for the the light and shadows. The Sun must be really down for the shadow of the hangar to be almost the same height as the hangar itself.

It's spring there already.

Forgot about the old building thread Greg, have not seen any action there for quite a while. I did post some when it was active.

Seemed like Spring had Sprung in January here Yildiz ;^)
