I was recently reading a piece on 'chemtrails' which was basicaly asking what the hell are they? Any aircraft engine produces warm air which leaves a vapour trail in the colder upper atmosphere. Typically they last from 10 minutes to an hour depending on prevailing conditions. But these days you are quite likely to see trails that hang around for hours and don't so much evaporate as spread out thinning to a haze as they do.KevinBarrett wrote:Pity about the jet contrail in the first two, those people should've taken a boat instead. The third shot is lovely though. I love how the sharper, brighter textures fill the space.
