Hello everyone! I just bought a new Alpha 200 and am loving it. Within the next month or so I hope to be ready to get my first lens. I'm thinking large telephoto since I love faces. There's not a face I don't love. This is my first DSLR. I moved up recently from a Panasonic Lumix FZ30 but thought it was time to take the next step. Anyway, glad to be with you all. Oh, and Seattle still isn't sunny! Rats.
cheers,
Adam.... (aka sundayroad)

Hi! Being based in Scotland, we sympathise with Seattle Shirley has a framed print - one of the first digital prints we ever made, dated 1996, produced on an Encad Novajet printer using canvas. Shows a very grainy gritty Seattle skyline from a boat, with a big rainbow in a heavy sky... I've never been myself. She liked Pike's Place, markets, and the underground city which is a bit like Edinburgh in some ways.

I've been to Seattle a couple of times, and I wouldn't mind living there some day. My brother lives there now and sends me pictures he shot with his Canon. You better post a lot of pictures when you get your new lens, and don't forget the rain forest! Welcome to the forum!
