Deleval Hall now open

Unread post by paulmurphy »

One of the National Trusts newest properties opened to the public this weekend (1st May) so I went along for a look - Deleval Hall near Seaton Sluice on the North East coast

The main hall is gloriously unrestored, and a treasure trove of potential images.

There are two spiral staircases, sorry about the slight camera shake - this is a pano of three images and it was quite dark and I didn't have a tripod

The inside of the hall is all exposed brickwork at present

There are also some lovely gardens to wander in, and the cafe is run by the owners of the crescent cafe in Seaton Deleval (an Italian family that sells the best homemade ice cream you will ever taste).

The hall is only open Friday, Sat, Sun, Mon at present, but well worth a visit if you are in the area.

Cheers

Paul, nice shots, but do tell me how or with what have you rectified the lines?

Hi Doc,

What do you mean by 'rectified the lines'?

I used PT GUI to stitch the images if that is what you mean. The spiral staircases are really quite interesting but only safe up to the second floor level, as there are no handrails higher up.

Cheers

The building edges are not inclined. I thought it was adjustment in a software. Didn't think of stitching.
I have to experiment in that.
