I was a little tired after working at the table for long hours and it's having its affects on me real time.

By the way, Pako, the last is a very pure-looking shot. Nice soft light and good breed of lillies.

Do you also enjoy S/F novels? If so, and if you do not already read his work, I suggest that you sample the books of John Scalzi - starting with "Old Man's War".

One of the classic rules of literature is that the author should grab the attention of the reader immediately, as the reader will probably not go past the first page if his or her interest is not attracted by the end of that page.

I think that Scalzi paid attention in class. The first paragraph of "Old Man's War" consists of only three sentences:

"On my seventy-fifth birthday I did two things.

I visited my wife's grave.

Then I joined the Army."

I agree, first impressions, first words, first glances matter and are very important. We always remember them throught our lives.

Most of my flower collection is of a single flower. A deficiency (of having fewer shots of flowers) I aim to correct in the coming months. A flower bed on Pier 39 in San Francisco in August month.
