Red squirrel! You are privileged. All we see are greys, though there are known to be reds in many places. Bluebells need another week. Trees seem well advanced this year, odd considering the poor winter.
I never tire of bluebell shots - it must be something about their colour against the fresh green spring foliage. Red squirrels - superb - I haven't seen one in real life since I was little. The greys are o.k. I suppose, but for me they do not have the charm and "squirrel nutkin-ness" of the reds. I especially like the first squirrel shot with that classic peek around the tree trunk look. Thanks for sharing.

More lovely shots Paul. I hope that the bluebells have not finsihed down here in the 'south' as I haven't had the chance to pop down to my local woods in the last couple of weekends. Perhaps the planets will align favourably this weekend for a lucky woodland trip

Your woods are very intense and the bluebells make a cushioning effect there, as though there was a blue, soft ground...an illusion that soon evaporates as we realize those are flowers growig on hard ground..
I hope your red squirrels outnumber the grey ones. They are very cute.
