Very nice pictures Sury and Shelika.

Sury, great to see more from the Tamron 60mm on the A900 - there appears to be a little vignetting, but not as much as I would have imagined, unless you have cropped a little?

Shelika, what a great flower and as you say well timed for next Friday's kick-off. The third shot is also my favourite - lovely red details against the green background. So now we need something with red and white (and blue) to match Saturday's big match - England v. US of A.

What once looked like a weed, may turn out to be your long-hiding tomato plant...

Didn't pull it out to see what it was to grow into and now I know; the leaves smell like tomato plant and soon I may see the fruits.

Yes, that's better but still a little crowded unless it is meant for some sort of field guide.

Very successful shot, Yildiz. Though I have planted tomatoes in my garden, but you gave me the envy to plant one apart to grow at home, as I still have a few seedlings remained in small pots (for photographic purposes).

No, it wasn't for a field guide. I had wanted a tight crop; I usually like seeing the tiny details, that's all.

I think they deserve your attention. Mine is completely by chance; a seed must have gotten mixed with the flower seeds and I didn't want to lose it by killing it when it first appeared next to the Arnicas in a pot.
The plant has a potential of delivering nice frames with a macro lens and good lighting. Always room for more..

Now I see what Winston meant. I like the latest one much better though others are as sharp.
I think the latest one provides a better context (at least to me). A sharp needle is not as interesting
as an eye of the bug in my book.

Finally got out today with my camera. Well the front yard anyway. My Gladiolas are starting to bloom. I still not mobile enough to get bend down with the macro lens, so this is with the 50 1.7 and HVL-56am flash. John
