More Fogo Island Fishing Stages

Unread post by camperbc »

Some more fishing stages close to my home. (old sheds that were/are used for the processing and storage of the catch-of-the-day) All three captures are from the historic town of Tilting on Fogo Island.

Yesterday was a gorgeous day here on the island; sunny and hot. I would have been back on the trails today, had I not fallen asleep yesterday in my hammock and gotten a SERIOUS sunburn, OUCH. I think I will stay hidden in the shadows for a few more days! From now on, I will be taking all of my siestas indoors!

As usual, these are hand-held with my Alpha, and old Minolta Maxuum 35-70mm f/4 lens.

Can't say which lens is performing better, this one or the 18-55 SAM
A99 + a7rII + Sony, Zeiss, Minolta, Rokinon and M42 lenses

Lovely shots Glen - great skies. The detail and texture of the stages are interesting subjects.
Nex 5, Nex 6 (IR), A7M2, A99 and a bunch of lenses.

I think you selected some good spots to achieve good perspectives. Lots to see in each photo, of the shacks and the rugged shore.

Thanks for sending, : )

Yep they are interesting photos, and nicely taken, but the best one was the one the op deleted, imho.
