Hi Yildiz, doing some fine experiments with different backgrounds and lighting on your tomato flowers, the first is quite good I think, you've got the backlighting under control with nice exposure on the subject and that's not easy, I can't make my mind up about the yellow background for the yellow flower...yet

Some fine flower shots there Birma, have you got a list of how many different flowers that is now since spring? I've lost count, seems every time you post there is another new couple or three, a great garden and general area I think. I like the Cow parsley even though it's a 'weed' we had a very similar type in the garden here for a while, but it used to get very untidy..if you didn't keep your eye on it. That pink one is an unusual and pretty flower as well, and the others of course.

That's a lily I haven't seen before Shelika, a very nice one to have in the garden.

I think you've created a nice aura around the lilies with a distinctive lighting that's directed to the bulbuous petals. Lovely warm colours also. I like the experiments you are having with your plants. : )

Now, that's a majestic queue of flowers from the depths and shallow parts of your garden. How to start?
Hmm, great roses, sweet poppies and delightful weeds. I like the tiny yet intricate fflowers of the co parsley while I like the way orange poppy closed up.

Well, it's a good thing then that my second flower photo with the yellow background is not a 'time bomb' or the like! You can take all the time you like to decide and let me know in the future. : ) And that yellow background is actually golden chocolate wrap paper(aliminum) on cardboard.

I don't throw away those golden papers because they make great reflective surfaces and the effects can be very creative.
Really bounces the light into areas where the subject has some sharp and dark shadows that are unpleasant.

Some fine details on the droplets and petal textures, Ewan. The first two have a fresh appeal and warm colours while the third has a cool look and fiine details.
