Broken lens hood

I managed to break the lens hood of my Konica Minolta AF 28-75, the part no on the hood is LB-1002, anyone have any idea where I get source another ?, I ive in NZ so it will need to be shipped here

I think your only chance (apart from getting another KM 28-75 on ebay for spares) is to get the one that fits the Tamron lens, it should fit, they are supposed too be almost the same lens. I find it inconceivable that the KM and Tamron versions would differ so much that the lens hoods were not interchangeable. Check out Kurt Munger's reviews of these lenses, including the Sony SAM version. His highly descriptive and consistent product shots should show you all you need to know:

Got a new hood (Tamron DA09) and it fits OK, thanks to the guys at Camera and Video in Christchurch
