Leaves 2010 & 2011

Unread post by aster »

Hello, :D

We have a wonderful Flowers-2010 thread that's thriving by each passing day. : )) How about those green extensions that come attached to the stems of these flowers ?

We had a very interesting 'Leaves' thread once.

Let's start a new one from all parts of the World from all seasons !

I'll start the thread with some germinating hdrangea leaves' shots from today.

Great idea Yildiz. Here is a contribution from the archives. I think the first two are in the flower thread so apologies for the duplication  .

A slightly older shot, and a change from close-ups.

Hi Birma,

Nothing to apologize for. : ) These are just the right kind in the right direction.

The last shot is an icredibly vast green with a sweet transluscency to it. The first to have similarities with my shots as well; a little fresh and lush green appeal. : )

Thanks for sharing,

Some unusual coniferous leaves there Yildiz - I recognise the 'fruits' of that one - you find it in UKgardens sometimes. Here are the leaves of the one of the Cherry trees in my garden, in IR.

What a great idea for a thread. Leaves always seem to get ignored, at least until Fall.. I'm gonna keep my eyes open. John

Thank you Yildiz :D - IR gives another dimension to explore.

Great silhouette Henry - the sky beyond the leaves is lovely.

Henry,
That was fantastic silhouette. Here is one from Butchart Gardens. Hopefully this one qualifies.
