Too much, or not???

Hello all- Yesterday I had the awesome opportunity to photograph my hospital's first Anterior Approach Hip Replacement. This approach lets a patient get up and resume a normal life much more quickly than a traditional approach.
The surgery was also being sent via satellite to a hospital in Florida, so the surgeons and doctors there could see it. The surgeon is a great teacher as well as a great orthopaedic surgeon.
I have many shots of the set up, and of course the operation. Some of them might be considered graphic by some (the open incision with instruments inside etc). I also have shots of the operation where the worst is bloody gloves, or gown.
I guess my question is what is ok to post here. How much is too much for the assembled viewers?
The patients face is never shown, and all staff and patient had releases signed before the surgery. I would like to know your thoughts, John

I suggest you post the more acceptable images directly and provide a URL link to a gallery if anyone wants to look at the full documentary.

Thanks Henry, Dusty and David. That was my general thought about how to post it. A warning, and then a link to a gallery. I have to post to my Flickr, and I will post here. I took many images, so it will take a day or so. It was really challenging and fun. I was so lucky that the video guys had studio lights set up in the room, as I was able to use ISO 200-400, I even was able to use the kit lens! John
