Photos below are ones of the first taken with my 16-105mm lens back in May. When I was going back from work I stopped near Stary Sacz and took a walk to St. Kinga bridge hoping to shoot some river landscapes. It was evening and I was forced to shoot against sun, but unfortunately left my cokin filters at home so skies aren’t as good as they could.
Here are three more from same location. I'll close this series later this week with third part of photos. Today I present you dusk. Last part will be with sunset.
BTW, last one in this set was taken with Tamron 55-200.
Hi Hawk, another 3 lovely images of the river. I like the last one with the layers of the scene disappearing in to the haze. The other two don't seem to have quite the same quality of light and interest in the sky as the first set - but this may just be me .
Nex 5, Nex 6 (IR), A7M2, A99 and a bunch of lenses.
Indeed light and skies aren't as good as in first set. Thats because all from second set were shoot more directly towards sun. Thanks for visiting again Birma
Looks like a weekly-time-lapse shooting, Hawk.
I'm sure it would make an interesting time lapse movie with a bit of shifting and awkard angles...but still would be nice I think.. : )
Composition-wise I would agree with Birma on that the composition has more to offer but as a documented scenery I find them all valuable: this is a very interesting water land which probably is home to millions of tiny and big creatures and plants.
Thanks for sharing and anticipating the next batch. : ))
I guess using Cokin filters would turned these wonderful pictures to extra-wonderful. I think you didn't loose a thing not having those graduated/polarizer filters with you.
Both stunning shots. I love the colours and the drama in the first, and as Tom says the figure in silhouette is brilliant in the second. A very productive stretch of river for you I think .

I think these are the photos with the warmest colours from you so far, Hawk. You nicely registered the changes the region goes through at different times of day or week...
