Wedding Candids

Took some shots for a firend that got married last week. No charge, just a chance to test the a900 with the Sony 70-200. I think I will keep this camera.

That's one of the places where the FF shines I reckon, with it's shallower DOF and used with quality lenses.

Thanks to you both. Hope you are feeling better Doc.
Greg, you are correct. Having just switched to full frame, I can see the difference. So much so that some of the images came out too narrow. However, the ones that really work are noticibly better than my experiences with the a700. It's just a different look.

A few more.

Very, very nice images. I think that the first one may be my personal favorite.

These are the type of images that I prefer to shoot myself - unposed and hopefully capturing something unique and personal about the time and place.

With best wishes,

Thanks Tom and Birma.
We think alike Tom. I really enjoy that isolated moment that captures a thought and then disappears. Capturing that moment is like getting away with the perfect crime. Maybe it's just that I don't feel comfortable posing people. Either way, I prefer the stealth approach.
