Photokina 2010?

Unread post by Birma »

Have any of the PCA faithful travelled to Photokina? Is DK attending? Perhaps Olaf? How will we get the inside story  ?

I bet there's no A700 successor (oh how I hope I'm wrong).

Yes DK is off to Photokina - I sent him an e-mail with some panoramas for the new front page gallery and got an out of office 'off to photokina' reply.

So watch this site for insider info, I say.

I don't know if I want an A700 replacement yet (at least my credit card doesn't), although I would love an upgrade in terms of high iso/low light performance and focus speed (just my personal wants for my photography).

Cheers

Thanks for the info Paul. I guess we can all look forward to some news and pictures :D .

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a new 7xx series. The camera I'll be buying in 3 years time once it is down to £500 and everybody else is clamouring for the A7xx+1. (I'm a late adopter ;) .)

I have a meeting with Paul Genge tomorrow to follow up the press conference. Then home. It has been a very tiring week, I just wish Kodak did not feed me continuous beers at their party :-)

Looking forward to the report after your meeting with PG (what you're allowed to share anyway). I have heard that there is no such thing as "too much free beer" :D
