Thanks guys- I really enjoy supporting Ian and the band. As a nice added benefit- I have loads of new photographic opportunities! (Plus I have a better vantage point from the sidelines).

John, this image I took in Krk, Croatia (Here on google maps). This is a small medieval town where some houses still have Roman foundations. In the winter less then 5000 persons live there, but in the summer the population grows to 20.000+. The fine thing is that they still kling genuinely to their traditions, one of which is this brass band - all of the musicians are from the town of Krk, I have been told.
Here you find an assortment of Krk images, taken over the course of some years.

The men feet I captured in Batticaloa - another repeating pattern...

Here is another shot with horns, feet and shadows. The USMC marching band. Taken with the a700 and 16-105, at the State Fair of Texas on Sunday. I've got marching band on the brain I'm afraid!!! Hope ya'll enjoy- John.

And no, this is no optical illusion: There are two similar girls (my twins) which then get repeated together with their father in a trick mirror in Salzburg's "Museum Mensch und Natur". Talk about the joys of parenthood...
