Been away from photography lately. However, I did catch this one a few weeks ago.
It's from the other side. The foreground limb is a bit disturbing but I still like the blooms and background.

Hi JB - I like the flower's view out on the world, almost a worm's eye view . Nice detail on the petals and I like the background.

Thanks Birma. The discussion of the 135 Zeiss on the last page reminded me that I had some images from that lens.
I should use it more.

Indeed, the distinctive sharpness of the focal area being the petals against blurry background is charming. Definitely shows off the CZ 135 F/1.8

Interesting alien looking flower there JBT, looks sortof like something Morticia might wear.

There's a new bunch of nice flowers in one of the pots Yildiz, I forgot what type they are, but I'm fairly sure you'll know. I haven't had much time for looking around lately. I suppose the flowers are coming too an end your way, or will be soon I guess.

Hi Greg,

It's the common Marigold also know as Tagetes.

You're so right about the weather over here; the winter is pushing its way in here. It's been raining for the past day and it's chilly.

That's a lovely pot of Marigolds; cheerful and popping towards the Sun!

Not sure what they are Greg, but have a bit of a chrysanthemum look. Lovely golden yellow colour whatever they are.

Thanks Greg, Yildiz and DA . I am surprised how well the flowers are still doing here. The weather on the West coast of Scotland can be very mild but some shelter is needed from the rougher winds etc.
