I went too a christening today (I seem to be coming in contact with churchy stuff of late, funerals, weddings and now christenings), and outside the cathedral there was a collection of Frangipani trees growing, I think this one was my fav.

I just entered the house from the withered autumn of the outside world and your flower came as so fresh! It's great that we have at least one summer and spring at full throttle at any time of the year to wash our eyes off of the dust autumn wind blows in our eyes.... : )

So shampoo away, Southern Hemisphere Spring!

Hi Yildiz and thanks,
Actually I did two shots of that one, the one without flash fill was dull (forgot to tun the flash on), so I posted the brighter one, but after fooling around with the dull one I think it came up better than the flashfill one, maybe a little noisier. (I forgot too underexpose the background in the flash one). People, not terribly photographically inclined, were waiting for me at the time.
Can you tell me, looking at your screen if it looks better than the first?

Most definitely, yes, the last one is brighter with more vivid colours ! I like the green of the leaves much more for being a cooler shade.

I can't notice the noise but the shot is much better overall. : ))

Ah thanks for that, one never knows if ones monitor is agreeing with others sometimes, especially when it comes to flat panel ones with their backlighting, it definitely makes printing more difficult, what you see on the screen is not always what you get, the printer thinks it's darker than what we are looking at, I've found it so anyway.

Hi Birma thanks, I'm a little distracted at the moment, there's a 24 countdown of the worlds sexiest supermodels on TV at the moment, I'm watching the quality of the photography and the lighting specifically.

There was the clothing/outfits as well...(quite a few were wearing something), and the scenery at the location was also interesting, Sports Illustrated for example goes too some exotic locations sometimes. So yes Doc it was very interesting and educational...I might need something for eyestrain though.

Yeah thanks DA, hmm maybe I should have taped the show or something, maybe the 7 network here has it on file, you can see a lot of their previous shows online I've found in the past; you'd just have to be careful about who might walk in while you were watching, and improving you mind, ha ha.

I can only humbly recommend to use some pairs of protective shades for too much 'light stimulae' to protect those retinas against burning up, guys and some sort of protective head gears in case those you think can walk in to be offensive to your muse moments... steel helmets might be of aid against a baseball bat...but I'm not sure about a bucket of icecubes and icy water! Things might get rusty soon enough and the cleaning up will be a party-killer too, of course!

Still though, there's good photography 'tips' in those shows for shooting human skin under different lights and conditions... bright sandy beaches,...ocean water colour,...and definitely composition and overall scene hadling.

And boys will always be boys of course! : )

I can hear a roaring cheer from the crowd of girls coming from all directions around the world for the admiration and the adoration!

And some economies depend on it too, of course!...Movies, perfumes, fashion, art, photography.... an incredible number of jobs that feed the billions of mouths although it may appear as superficial to some... : )

Here's one for the boys that admire pretty and genuine beauties then! Let's give it up for the boys ladies!
