Sweet tones of the autumn are visible with distinction in these photos of yours. Love the striking red of the first and the autumn colours in the bending wild grass growth in the second and third shots..and the dreamy last shot. : )

There must be a sweet breeze prevailing over those golf courses. Your A900 and Carl Zeisses are doing wonderfully in showcasing the season!

no Doc, it's probably my monitor, it looked ok at my end but I;ve never had mines calibrated so your more than likely correct,

I'm getting lots of artificats as well. Not sure if it's web compression or something else.

I agree, lovely cactus Lonnie, and the second one is great as well.
gio67 those artifacts look like the colour space problem I had when I forgot too set s-rgb for the web on a KM5D photo I posted once, that can easily spoil a nice photo.

Lonnie, wonderful shot, very beautiful. How about cropping it a bit from the bottom and a bit from the left side?

You know what Doc I actually like the composure 'as is' and I know this is going too sound odd but I would have preferred more DOF more than anything. That would have taken something away from the prime subject I know but the background is so good I think it deserves a more prominent place in the picture than it has.
Just my two cents.

Hi Lonnie,

Beautiful cactus with good contrast. The mountains in the distance in the last shot might have been bonus had they been more in focus but I have to admit that now it has more of a semi-abstract look. Less of the blurry foreground might also be better with a closer take on the mountain flower.

Hi Lonnie, I really like the cactus shot - the contrast of flowers against those nasty looking spikes. I've liked your "wild flowers in the mountain" shots since some of the first of your pictures I saw here so it is great to see more .
