Eventually figured it out

Using the Nikon/MA adapter without the glass element (no infinity focus) and keeping the aperture wide open with a piece of paper and flash, after few experiments here is the image. I can't figure out how to embed a flickr image after they changed somethings on flickr while I was away.

A900, Nikon 18-200 VR lens, Nikon/MA adapter, Shutter priority Release, manual adjustments.

Thank you. I fixed it. I was able to embed images before. I can't seem to be able to do anymore from Flickr.

Hi Sury - Flickr have changed the interface and they have tried to enforce their regular terms and conidtions about how we share images posted on their site. (Apparently if you post a shot hosted on Flickr you are supposed to indicate that it is on Flickr.) The latest process seems to work like this.

1. Chose a photograph from your stream (i.e. click on it)
2. You should see two buttons at the top of screen, "Actions" and "Share This". Select "Share This" and then "Grab the HTML/BBCode" in the drop down list that appears.
3. Select the size from the size option box (Large normally falls within limits here), and BBCode, and then select the html code from the box shown.
4. Cut and paste it to your post here and there you go. However as it is now full of links it reduces you to two such images per post.

This has made me seriously reconsider Flickr for hosting. There are some interesting groups on it and I like the geo tagging (useful for finding local places to photograph), but these conditions seem a pain. (I also seem to remember that David has concerns about the misuse of images that are posted there.)

It does make sense now. I am not seriously rethinking using Flickr. I can still use the free membership to access group. I don't know why they take perfectly working system and tinker with it. I have no qualms about moving away from it.
