Of course, if you find a bi-camera like the A55 then it might satisfy all your desires.

Henry in all seriousness, you're able to photograph people with such a relaxed, natural style I really enjoy it. All of your shots here are great. John
If the last thing you remember hearing is somebody yelling 'CLEAR!!!', assume you've had a problem!!
a77, a700, a200, Minolta 8000i, NEX C3, NEX 5N and more lenses than my wife suspects!

I very rarely take pictures of people other than my family, but I really admire the sort of people photography at which Henry excels, and the great people pictures on this thread. This one is still family, but I think it fits the brief

I like this one! Mother and daughter both have their arms spread and both wearing blue and pink. Very nice!Birma wrote:I very rarely take pictures of people other than my family, but I really admire the sort of people photography at which Henry excels, and the great people pictures on this thread. I had originally intended for this thread to feature people, but maybe if I open it up to Love among the animal world then more people may find something to post. Use your imagination.

Birma, as Henry nicely observed, that's a great match with colours and clothing for a 'mother and daughter' and a very lovely 'love' shot... : ))
..........................
Henry;
Expanding the photo variety to animal kingdom may be a good idea, since your shot of the wild creatures is so very cute!
: ) Good thing you are there to keep the thread alive! Still looking here....

Thank you Henry and Yildz. I will keep looking for more Love shots.
That is a fine otter shot Henry. You seem to have got very close - are they quite used to people and cameras? (I suppose they are Californian

I encourage everyone to use your imagination. This is not a challenge thread, just a photo thread with a rather loose theme of LOVE so don't take it too serious. Have fun with it.aster wrote: Expanding the photo variety to animal kingdom may be a good idea, since your shot of the wild creatures is so very cute!

Yes, please do!Birma wrote:Thank you Henry and Yildz. I will keep looking for more Love shots.
I was at Morro Rock in Morro Bay, California and the sea otters were not far offshore among some kelp. I squatted down on the rocky shore taking photo for quite awhile just a bit before sunset. The water was reflecting pink in the sky. I don't know if they are accustomed to people, but I was far enough away that they didn't seem to mind. They were probably about 10-15 meters away.Birma wrote: That is a fine otter shot Henry. You seem to have got very close - are they quite used to people and cameras? (I suppose they are Californian.)

Frank, that is a very nice tender moment in your first photo. The second one is great! You caught a really nice moment with mother and child.

Re: Love is in the air
Dangerous love
Probably David K will like this one, because Spider are very good at guitar to play music. In this scene is a male spider trying to seduce for "love" the cute and "friendly" female. The Male is using its back middle legs to play gently small rhythm and it is very beautiful to watch, because the rhythm can change base on the female respond. One this day, the male has play I think about 1 to 2 hour before to reach this distance to the female. It is a very long process for him to try to make the female fall in a kind off sleep by using the good frequency to be able to kiss her
.

For those who don't know spider, the small one is the man, and I don't have to explain you what usually happen when the woman is not happy or if she has got what she needed.
My next project is to catch this on film with the Nex5 and macro lenses, what is very funny in this curse for love of the man is that when the man don't play good music ... the woman cute wire ... and depending on the number of wire available the man has not a lot of chance to win.
Regards,
Frank

I really like this one Birma. The Animal shot of Henry also make them look as a real happy couple, I'm pretty sure if they can they will have bring with them small glass of wineBirma wrote: ...
