Great idea for a thread. Very interesting signs so far. Here is one from 2005 in Portree on the Isle of Skye, Scotland. This particular road sign always made me feel nervous when I was learning to drive, and it is still something that makes me think carefully about a three point turn .

Birma- I can see how that would make you approach a 3 point turn with some trepidation... I do love the utterly decorous nature of the smaller sign. I would have thought it said, Make sure boats park on the left, cars on the right.

Birma, all that snow sure looks good! It has been quite awhile since I was around snow. I am quite sure that Santa will be making a stop for a good girl!

Usually graphic artists are very careful with details, but the gloved hand and the bare hand - or the glove inside the sleeve and outside the sleeve - look odd.

Yeah, that is sort of funny that the person who made that communist sign was inconsistent like that. Communist signs are ubiquitous in Vietnam.
