Interesting shape of leaf Yildiz and I like the colour against the background.

I took this picture before our snow disappeared. It has got so cold so quickly this year that the trees are still trying to get rid of their leaves while there is already now on the ground.

The willow tree that stands next to our house is still in the process of shedding its leaves.

That's one of the loveliest leaves photo I've seen, Birma. : )

Good angle and good thinking going low close to the surface to make the subjects more effective... Nice shapes to the leaves also with the curvelinear edges that curve away from the white icy surface.

Thanks for sharing,

Thank you Yildiz :D .

My wife said that it looks like I have set all of the leaves out just to be photographed, but this is just how I found them, honest  .

:D My initial thoughts were on par with your wife's but they didn't go as far as giving you the full credit for the actual sparse layout of the nice leaves. Still though, a nice unique setting which makes the scene worth taking a longer look! : )

Thanks for sharing, Birma.

Great colours, Gio67!

Seeing your beautiful 'leaves and moss' shot and magnificent mossy shades, I decided to change the title of this thread from "Leaves 2010" to "Leaves 2010 and 2011"; no need to start a "Leaves 2011" at all. :D

Thanks for sharing!

Yeah I like the mossy log and leaves as well, and judging by the yellow reflection at the top those could be worth a look as well.
