Tsawwassen 1ºc. Sun & Snow.

I really like both those shots gio67. Thanks for sharing.
Just spotted the deer, very nice also.

We received quite a downfall in T-town last night, much more than Ladner.

Tractor to the rescue in Ladner. I got a pic of this guy in the same predicament last summer, cant blame the snow. ;^)

Image

Boy! that Elmer can sure handle a tractor. ;^)

No photos today, but great shots gio67.. I wish our snow would stay around more, but what can you expect in Texas...
David- Years ago I worked at a Pep Boys auto parts store. We used to joke that Ford stood for Found On Roadside Dead... Maybe we were on to something. Though this seems to be a case of operator error...Especially since the road itself doesn't look too bad...

I like the snow pix in the city conditions gio67, looks like there is still no shortage in your area.
Good action shots DA, what happened? did he skid off or did he park there? and how come the front wheels don't seem to be driving, it's a 4X4 after all, maybe the back wheels had most of the weight that might be it.

T-town 4c. cloudy

He lives up there Greg, that is the dyke for the Fraser River. Probably turned off the road too fast. With Elmer pulling he would have to go easy on the gas and just use 2-WD.

Hi,

That sure is what I would like to see out my window, JBTaylor. Very subtle shot... : )

Hi Gio67, : )

I love the dominance of isolation enforced by the snow fall and freezing cold in your scenes. The first is beautiful with that mist while the angles are overpowering in the street shot of the second shot.

Thanks for sharing.

Hi David Antony, : )

Elmer does a neat rescue job indeed. Good thing someone still has a tractor around the vicinity. Good editorial of the neighbourhood as well as a weather shot...but then you did say that the predicament is quite innate to this certain gentleman in all weather conditions, which takes the news to the headlines! :D

Perhaps the city traffic department should put a kind of flexible fence right there on that spot to bounce him right back on the road for future incidents... :)

Thanks for sharing,

T-town 11:59 & 10ºc. We have the Pineapple Express going by. (Wind flow from Hawaii)

Just looked at the previous page. Great shot in the snow John, I saw some more of yours else where, also excellent, especially the house and tree ones. Certainly taking advantage of your snowfall along with your kids.

Thats a really good night shot of the fine building Yildiz with it's posh looking restaurant. They no doubt have those overhead heat lamps, so you would survive there OK Greg. ;^)

No need for the elastic fence Yildiz. Elmer is on standby with reasonable rates. Had you not noticed there is an abundance of tractors around here? especially old ones. ;^)

How can I not?! :D I know someone who takes photos of them and makes them look good too! I might have gotten the impression that they were 'museum' pieces, though... Some certainly were as old as the last century, if my memory serves me right. : ))

Good for Elmer for being a district hero. : )

Hi john, : )

Lovely shots of your snow-covered vicinity. I also enjoyed the Black&White over in the other thread but maybe they need a little more contrast to 'pop' a little.

No snow or ice here so far, unless you count the ice I chipped out of the top of the beer fridge. Mostly clear-ish today, although it's just started to spit again tonight.

A cool touch for the grass! Nobody can say that there's been nothing icy going on there..for the ants at least. : )

We may be getting more cold weather soon and I hope to see some rain at least... Been reading and seeing news of your area and the floods that took over rather hazardously. I hope it ceases soon.

Tropical rains on the way.

Nice window into your subtropical Wellington Park DA. :-) Those cool bird shots could have gone into the new Bird thread perhaps.

@Greg- That's about how much snow we have left here in Texas, except the grass is brown.
DA that is a nice series, I really like the boat shot, it is a part of life I rarely see..
Yesterday was cloudy with a high of 4.5 ° C. We had two helicopters come in today, one dropping off, the other picking up. Luckily both take-offs were between cases, so I grabbed some pix.
