Hockey and Other Stuff

Unread post by jbtaylor »

Spent the afternoon on the pond with some hockey freaks yesterday. It was cold (temps in the 20's) but the boys didn't mind.
All shot with the beercan.
Enjoy.

As for the goalie, see below.
As for the real reason to be out there, see further below.

Oh no it went 4-0 while the goalie got on the turps...ha ha. At least you wouldn't have to take an icebox with.

Hi JBTaylor,

:) Great shots! Everyone seems to have had a memorable day.

Even the dog runs as though it had more than one bottle of the spirits. :)

Nice pictures JB. Nice to see people playing ice hocky 'al fresco' :D . The surrounding area looks really dry. Is this normal for you at this time of year?
Nex 5, Nex 6 (IR), A7M2, A99 and a bunch of lenses.

Thanks for the comments Yildiz and Birma.
The area is pretty brown but I do not think we had an exceptionally dry year. Must be the kind of grass.
I must say that this was my first real test with the beercan. It performed nicely. I may never walk around with the Sony 70-200mm again (in good light of course).
I also purchased a 28-135mm Minolta over the weekend. I am discovering that these old lenses still have something to offer.
