Some shots with my sony 55-200mm

Hi Anna,

I like the third shot better than the upper two for the selection of the elements and the grainy look. In the upper two I don't think what you aimed for is clear at all; is it a study of light and shadow? A study of depth of field?

All three could have been better composed, I'd say, with different choices of frame proportions and crops.

They are rather stand-alone photos that require the inclusion of an assisting subject to give them more meaning or concept value. How about including other minimal yet more personalized items in the scene using DoF as an instrument to tell your spontaneous stories?

For example: an out-of-focus doll / book / a lit and abandoned cigarette in an ashtray, in the front or in the background ; or a person's hand over that coat/jacket that's half lit?
You know, just any other small addition to make a more interesting and intriguing scene. : )

Well, I like the first two shots much more
At first, the idea of this shots is to make you think for several minutes what is there in the picture... On the first shot you will notice the bed reflection, and then the clothes on the chair... The second one I didn't want to interrupt, to add anything or crop, to me it is very calming. At least, I had that impression when I was looking at them.
