I have recently returned from a tour of Vietnam with a little bit of Cambodia tacked on the end. It was a highly enjoyable and enlightening experience. I have just started to go through my images and I hope you won’t mind if I share a few of them with you here.

What exactly is that lady in the last batch making that looks like flat bread bread...far too transparent for one? Filo dough, perhaps?

The woman is making rice paper. At most meals a type of spring roll was served that was wrapped in rice paper.

Rice paper! Sherbet flying saucers. The best thing ever to come from rice paper about from the bottoms of coconut macaroons...
