Nice bloom indeed Gio67. I can almost feel the sunshine .

Those are lovely Yildiz. I'm really not sure I would have immediately said they were from a phone . I like the dandelions especially, although the colours in all of them are great. I don't think Istanbul has anything to worry about in the colour stakes .

thanks Birma, this thread is still throwing up some great pics, the bluebells are a credit , but asters pics with a mobile phone take some beating,just amazing stuff

I was looking at your almost-final-shots of the bluebell fields under those trees and forgot to write my comment which was about the lush, bright green leaf germination on the tree branches that took over and dominated the scene while the blues seemed to be thinning underneath. The two between-the-times photos are nicely depicting the 'taking-over' while giving a hint of what'll be there soon!

I'm sure you'll find swathes of other flowers in a field somewhere soon. : ) A vast field of red poppies like last year perhaps?

The mobile phones are gettiing better and better for photography and videos... The only problem I see so far is the JPEG compression that my Samsung mobile applies to the final product. But the industry is on its way to fixing that too. : ) Maybe we'll see RAW formats as a regular feature of these tiny phones.

Those cherry blossom are lovely. I'm surprised you still have it. Ours has been gone for some weeks. I was in Edinburgh for the day and noticed the cherry blossoms is still in bloom there. I saw some nice potential shots with cherry blossom in the foreground and the castle in the background. Sadly no time and no camera . (Photographers' stories; a bit like fishermens' tales of the one that got away!)

Birma does sound a bit worrying. Too many passings of road signs, hearing the buzzing of the vehicle's engine and driving for long distances have the ability to create a 'bewildered' person no matter who. If he dreamt, then it must have been a really good dream with the characteristic of all dreams; there is always something great going on but the most needed item or equipment goes missing when you reach out to grab it! And it's always a looong fall that seems to end at no particular distance!

He needs his Bluebbell field tranquility....

I'm finally back home and recovering from lack-of-photography induced hallucination

Great colours in all of those pictures Yildiz. I especially like the Wisteria, and there is something special about the texture in the Camelia flower petals as well? Super stuff .

Last Monday was a public holiday here (May Day) and we also had great weather. We went to one of our favourite haunts for a family picnic, but I managed to catch a few spare moment to take some pictures with the 11-18mm. These may look a bit similar to some previous shots form the same location, just a bit wiiiider .
