It indeed makes up for those days. I like the subtle morning light better than daylight for delivering better contrasts and some 'tiny' drama. : )

I'm afraid it will take a long time for me to join in posting in this section due to a severe fungal infestation of my garden. Tried rescuing the trees which were affected the most. Unfortunately no apricots for us this summer.

Lovely Rose and the defocused bokeh effects are nice jbtaylor.

Another debacle with the Apricots Doc, first the frost and now fungus, that's a pity. There was some fungus here on a couple of the citrus trees, splitting the bark, oozing sap, and causing dieback on some extremities, I eventually tried white oil and that seemed to work good, (on that particular fungus anyway) you need to drench the limbs trunk and around the base a few times.

Sorry to hear about the infestation Doc. Hope you get things under control soon. Are the problems more widespread than your garden? Just wondering if it is something that will effect all of the local apricots.

Beautiful shots from JBTaylor and Yildiz, and everyone else. Here are some Blanket flowers growing on the side of the road...Not the beautiful floral displays in Istanbul, but a treat to see as you drive by anyway. A big thanks to Emma for holding the diffuser for me.. John
