Looking up the beach

Taken @ Cleveleys Beach, near my home town of Blackpool on my first fathers day out with wife and baby. Had to get out as the weather was windy but bright. Downside I forgot my bloody circular polariser so this could of been better.

Used my Sigma 24-70mm f2.8, which this image was taken at f2.8 1/4000 @ 70mm. I kind of like it as just wanted to give the impression of being sat down and looking up the beach.

The sea looks very choppy there Neil. Is that Blackpool tower in the distance?

I don't think I'd like to be out in a boat, might be a bit bumpy on that day.

It certainly is Blackpool Tower Birma, draped in scaffolding.

I do think that the circ pol would of caught this shot alot better, but surprisingly enough at high tide on a blustery day it does not seem to have come out that bad.

And you right is was damn choppy out there.
