Sadly I havent got that many zoo shots online, but here's one for you:

This is from my only zoo visit in about 20 years or so, as we don't have any nearby. That perticular zoo is about some 300 km's from here.

Hi Doctor,

nice shots they are... thanks for posting. Do you mind if I fuss around a bit?
If I had to do it I might cheat a little and eliminate the blue lines on the rock behind the elephant's head, the same goes for the upper left corner for the bird (stork?)... I would just PP it away. It is a bit distracting for my taste. As usual, only a matter of taste.
The third one is really astonishingly sharp!
By the way, what did you tell the elephant to get that look in its face?

Very nice thread!
Animals are very interesting creatures with their various resemblences to human nature. That baboon reminds of ancient Egyptian Pharaohs with the ancient traditional head-dressing with his eyes half-closed and looking so dignified. Maybe it's just me who sees such similarities...
All are caught in their interesting daily rituals of fun or hunger and the chinese pheasants have lovely colours...a pity they have to live behind fences, bars and in cages though...

Yes Yildiz, I absolutely agree with you. Resemblance is a fact. Ornaments and dressings were also made that way.
Even look around you, people who have pet dogs, they do resemble each other.
