specs
old chap with glasses taped up and using magnifying glass caught my eye for this candid shot
Re: specs
Very strong subject, a picture with a message. I was trying to write something like the cup is distracting, crop to have the face bigger, but when I tried myself, it didn't work. I think you got it right.

Re: specs
It is a perfect exposure! I think the DOF could have isolated the subject fairly well if the frame had been in landscape format, though. It would be neat to see the rest of his "spread," but this one is very nice just the same. Of course, its easy for me to say that--I can't see the clown with a rainbow wig off to the left there.

Very very nice...
For me it always a lotery whether such a shot works or not. So far I have not managed to get a clue why.
This definitely works... A very expressive face the old man has...
Great.

I like the cup. It places it isn a tea room/cafe. I would crop the blue thing at the bottom though, and perhaps blur the background some.bossel wrote:Very strong subject, a picture with a message. It is a bit "Streets of London", but looks can be decieving - I bet the guy is really a wealthy professor on his tea break, or perhaps a spy who is studying an embedded micro dot! I hope you haven't blown his cover.
Either way - nice shot.
