Live from Jodrell Bank - music event

A couple of weeks back the first Jodrell Bank Live gig, headlined by The Flaming Lips took place, with a stage set up next to the Lovell Radio Telescope. Here are 3 shots from the day. There are more on my website, link in signature. All are taken with the A700 and then the Sigma 10-20mm for the first shot (on tripod) and the Samyang 8mm for the 2nd and 3rd (handheld).

For me, the first is impressive while the second and third speak for the atmosphere grandly.
The second can very well be one of the legal postcards/posters of the event.

WOW.
Nice shots, well chosen angles, great atmosphere - I like all 3. Shot 1 has a big of an epic feel, 2 feels really vibrant and ablaze with colour (would have been great in my colour thread and 3 is great use of a fish eye effect.
