Those flowers are pretty Charlie, nice house and garden as well.
Greg

Not much just a couple of cheerful little flowers that grow on and near the back fence. A700 KM18-200

Wow DA, the colour in those is spectacular, really like that first one even though I should like blue more than pink ha ha.
Greg
ps. btw thanks for the comments from before, there's not a great deal happening in the flower world here, the pom pom bush is flowering again, thats something, and the honeyeaters love it, but you've all seen that one before.

Those are pretty gio67, I went looking to see if I could find out what they were, but as usual after looking at a thousand flower photos there were some similar ones but none exactly the same.

Hi Charlie, : ))

What a lovely house among wonderful greens and flowers! ..And great flower shots as a result. : )

Please continue sharing your shots of nature of all kinds!

---------------------

Hi Greg,

:D I used to see these flowers of yours quite everday when I was a child, because they were in our garden. The first one was a favourite of our bees that resided in their own hives in the corner of the garden. The second one with its small red trumpet-like flowers was a fvourite among both bees and children. :) These small flowers have a kind of sweet liquid nectar that one can taste if sucked on from the bottom of the flower. Every kid knew this and they would just pick them and immitate the bees, against all the objecting cries that their mothers would voice. : ))

Kids will be kids and nothing can stop a sweet-seeking 5-year-old!

---------------------

Hi David Antony,

: )) Wonderful colours! Love the first shot for the subtle composition and the beautiful flower that fans like that.

And the hydrangea is just magnificent with the shade of bright blue that dominates the blossoms; a rare sight since they turn pink most of the time.

--------------------

Hi Gio67, : )

Lovely Gazanias! A very neat composition ....

--------------------

Hi John, : )

Great shot of the blue flowers and the water pond together.

Thanks for sharing everyone. : )

I've seen those ones before somewhere John, but I'm not sure if they are Lotus or Water Lily, beautiful flowers anyway.
Greg
ps. Thanks Yildiz, now I know why those are popular with the Honyeaters.
