Hi Greg, thank you for liking the stuff I did... Well, I started photography at the end of 2007, but before that I was into graphics design + 3D animation and stuff, so I some prior experience in Photoshop, so in the beginning, I was doing a lot of rescuing (Ouch!). Many of the photos were shot on the bright end of exposure - But luckily in raw and, on the Alpha 700, which I was (apparently) able to consistently pull out a lot of highlight detail. The shots were then processed in Photoshop. I'm in the learning phase then, and it is still on going now, so you'd see that the look would "evolve" as the collections progress.

She's quite a special case... Since the shoots of series #3. Yunji , I've been playing with portable studio lights... for her, but I've spent about one hour trying to get it right, and somehow she didn't look good... So after an hour... with time running out, I reverted to natural light...

The slight motion blur is created in camera, is a combination of a relatively long exposure of about 0.5 seconds with a burst of flash - the duration of which is usually in the 1/1000 to 1/2000 range, which has the ability to freeze the subject, creating a sense of motion.
