The boating club looks like it might have been a popular destination there Henry, judging by the traffic in the snow. And I agree that looks too cold to be out and about in.

Nice winter images Henry almost makes me cold although I have a fire burning in our stove.

Here's a photo from 2003, it depicts the "Sjötorp" entrance to Sweden's largest building project ever - Göta Canal. The goal was to be able to cross Sweden from west to east by boat, thus skipping the Danish Dues. Seven million days work (a days work was 12h) was put into the building of the canal

Nice winter images Henry almost makes me cold although I have a fire burning in our stove.

It was fairly cold, but not that bad. The snow was really coming down and almost no one was around so I enjoyed walking down to Stanley Park that day.

Cool! It says this about the canal:

The canal is nicknamed the "divorce ditch." It earned this nickname from the troubles that couples have to endure while trying to navigate the many locks by themselves.

Well, here is something with a bit more of a summer feeling (or winter or fall or spring here):

This spear fisherman walked up out of the surf at Waikiki with this big fish he got. Very unusual to see a spear fisherman around the tourist beach.
