Hi there fellow alphas.. Been a while since my last post.. just too busy with everythings... This picture was taken during Sony (Malaysia) Alpha Challenge:: Sekinchan ( a paddy field area in Malaysia) on Sept 2011... The weather was not as expected.... well, here it goes..

I like #1 a lot - I grew up in SE Asia. My old elementary school in the Philippines was sorrounded by rice fields (and so were the outskirts of my town), so this brings back memories. Of course, being close enough to Manila, the whole thing has been turned into subdivisions. Thanks for posting.

Both are great, but first is superb if I was held at gunpoint the only thing I would think could improve is the missing right part of the tree

Btw, maybe it was the PP frame that stole those pixels? (made frame inside pic instead of outside)

yes bakubo..organized by SONY Malaysia.. They also organized a competition within every photo outing.. I want to submit the first puc.. but, i dont feel ok with it...
