Hello The AtlasMan and welcome from me too :D . I look forward to hearing about your photography and hopefully seeing some pictures as well.

I agree that the ability to share information about equipment, techniques, post-processing, etc., are great boons. I also really appreciate being able to so easily see other people's work - of all standards. Seeing how other people have constructed a picture I find a very useful learning tool.
Nex 5, Nex 6 (IR), A7M2, A99 and a bunch of lenses.

Indeed! I shudder to think where my general skill level would be if I hadn't found this community three or four years ago.
