Thanks, Greg. From what my brother told me, they don't really get proper fall colors up there--rather, it's a rainforest environment and most of it stays steadily green. I don't believe him because I have pictures from late November that show slightly fewer leaves in the trees than early October. Still, that was our only availability to make that trip as my wife was starting a new job.

Your captions for some of your wife's portraits had me laughing. : ) Only when browsing through your Flickr gallery and accidentaly hovering on the portraits does one get to read them which I believe are your ideas... A pity we don't see them here in the forum.

The stack of rocks' photos are good shots also...I like the shades and the volumes.
