I was kucky enough to get to see Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds at the beeb last night and got this with my G!2. Interestingly enough the bbc allowed photography without flash and as long as you weren't using "professional" equipment - so i dont think i would have got away with my A900/70-400 combo!

Great picture Caporip :D . I like the crowd silhouette and the grainey, B&W feel to the picture. I have heard some replays on the Radio since the gig and it sounds good - a sort of acoustic version of 'Supersonic' being one that sticks in my mind. Overall, how do you think the 'one brother' sound holds up?

Birma

I think he's the better of the two - enjoying the new album very much and loved the gig - he made a few comments about 6-1 for some reason :-)

Too little action in this thread, and my camera is certainly getting too little action during this season too :(
Anyway, went out for some X-mas shopping this past weekend and found...

Santa's new ride!

Unfortunately I did not have a proper camera with me, so this will have to do :D

Thanks for looking, and please help keeping this thread alive

Nice car and a nice shot Zeb. Santa looks very comfortable :D . The car looks like the new Morgan Aero? Still hand-made made just down the road from me in Malvern. What a beauty!

I have just sold my T500 compact camera, so I will have to rely on the phone for any further small sensor shots ;)

Thanks Andy :D That's correct, it's a Morgan Aero 8, MY10 according to Sweden's "DMV" :)

Well, can't say that I'm a big fan of the cold winters we've had the previous two years but considering the weather we've had in Sweden lately ( > +5 degrees celsius, hard winds and lots of rain) and christmas drawing nearer, I must say that I miss scenes like these:

Thanks for looking :-)

Very nice! I especially like the subtle color on the trees in an otherwise monochrome landscape.

Hi Zeb, : )

Car of the season; red and round and charismatic. A real upgrade for Santa Klaus...North Pole must have some good roads for those tyres.

Hope we all see at least some layers of snow before Christmas. : )

Thanks for sharing,

Nice snow scene Zeb - it is photogenic stuff as long as you don't have to travel far in it :D .

This was recently in Chinatown in Honolulu before leaving for Japan. I had to quickly pull the digicam out of my pocket and because of the contrasty light I used EC to reduce exposure. I knew that I should have reduced it a bit more but I had to react so fast that I didn't have time to keep pressing the EC button to go further. As expected, some highlights, especially the little boy's face were blown. I still like the photo quite a lot though and don't consider the blown highlights all that important for this shot.
