Black and white portraits with male model

Unread post by Anne_LilyofTheValley »

Hi all,

Againg I am sharing my portraits with you. I used only natural light at a cafe and added some burn/dodge via photoshop.

This first one is a bit of blurred and out of focus, anyway I really liked the mood and atmosphere, what do you think?

The second one

The lighting seems good Anne, (I'm no expert on taking portraits) but I'm not sure I like the background in #1. The second one looks ok too me.

Second for me too, Anna. : )

Do I detect a little motion blur in the second or was it intentional?

Thanks for sharing,

I've been following them on Flickr. They're really captivating!

These are looking very good Anne. Strong light and contrast are fashionable, and give the images a clean look which will work for commercial clients.

Thank you very much!!! I was experimenting with low light and manual focusing. Next time I'll try to be more attentive to the details.

Anne.
