Morning in the Anacostia River Boathouse

My son had to row early this morning, so once again, with camera on hand, here are some of the pictures of the boathouse at relatively early light.

That's a fancy looking boathouse and the boating photo sets the mood nicely I think with that exposure, I like the mist over in the background as well.

The boathouse's roof/overhead structure is nicely shaped with a likeness to the hull of a ship or boat. A theme much exercised in architectural designs nowadays. Shape suggests the function kind of way.
