I'd have liked a constant battery indicator and a dedicated HSS on/off button. I actually the back panel info layout can be improved, too much of empty of space there. Could have displayed F number, focal length, Sensor type, ISO, etc. Am I asking too much for $500?

Just bought HVL-F58 AM
It's big and heavy compared to my old 36AM
. It has got a lot of power. Swivel head is awesome.

No, you're not asking too much for $500. Sony is asking too much for their F58!

You can download a pdf of the user manual from the sonystyle website. That's what I did for my hvl-56am when I lost the manual. I just checked, and they have the manual for the hvl-58am as well.pakodominguez wrote:is there a .pdf user manual somewhere (a CD probably?) that you can share?
