Hello to the Fora

Hi, my name is Robert and I am a new Sony Alpha user. I am very happy with my A65. I am an electronics geek and this camera is more technologically sophisticated than anything I ever used in the Canon world. This place seems more civil than other spots on the internet so I think i will hangout here.

Hi Robert and welcome, (but don’t let Sony hear you say how great they are, they’ll think they are wonderful and get a swelled head). Actually the SLT’s are a good design for sure with some novel advances and some solutions to problems that putting video in an SLR design create, but the design still has a couple of gremlins to shake loose and a few of us would like a choice and so far it seems Sony is not keen on that plan, all we can do is wait and see what happens I guess.
