Some flowers snapped in the garden yesterday afternoon. It was dull and grey again so the light was nice and diffused, if a little too dark, and with the breeze as well I bumped up the ISO.

A clematis that has managed to fight through rapant honey suckle and climbing roses.

Our Pyracanthus has burst in to blossom and it looks, and smells, great.

The Aquilegia has sprung up in the border in the last few weeks. I don't remember this dark purple one last year, but U suppose it must have been there

This yellow variety is as prolific as usual, but needs tieing up to something as it tends to sprawl over the lawn.

Wow Birma those are good for dull conditions, the Clematis is very nicely done and the Pyracanthas seems to resemble a wedding bouquet.
The Aquilegia sure looks like an unruly climber alright but it produces a lovely flower just the same, they all look in splendid condition so the garden must be healthy.

The clematis just jumps at you from this image! Striking colors and ditto image! Even so for the yellow aquilegia!

My wife decided to move the rose bush to a new location. Apparently it was battling for light with the Black Eyed Susans. The buds were lost during relocation. She was less than impressed when I told her that people all over the world were waiting for images of these special buds. So I will have to bore you with the following:
a900 and the Sony 70-200 2.8 on the first 2. The last ones are with the Tamron 14mm 2.8. Still scratching from lying on the ground for those.

Those are nice JT. I especially like the worm's eye view ones. I can heartily recommend live view and an articulating rear screen to reduce having to lie on the ground. Let's hope the A99 has these features (or wireless tethering to your phone!)

Ps I found a miniature rose (yellow about a half inch across) still in bloom in the front garden, but I'm not sure how one takes a photo of a miniature rose and have it still 'looking' miniature in the photo...hmmm
