Spectacular pictures in the Edinburgh slideshow, especially the night shots. I must say I find the parliament building pretty intriguing... Would be a reason for a visit.

But I am sorry I can't download the Hawkscraig Point slideshow. Has it been removed? Or did the link change? And after seing the one jpeg from the show I "want more"!

For some reason, mediafire that I use for posting these larger files (due to bandwith requirements) ocassionaly stops working, however, I just checked it and it seems to be working OK.

I think there have been a lot of downloads of this, so perhaps you were trying at a busy time?

Hi Mark,

well I am sorry it does not work with my computer... It worked yesterday, but I was working and I did not have the time to download those files... Since that moment I always get the "URL not found" warning... Only with that slideshow, the other all work.
Well, it could be my computer... I will try another one as soon as I can.

Well I finally went over download the file on my USB-stick on another computer... Mine seems to have moral problems with scottish waters...

Well Mark: These pictures are nothing less than stunning... Did you use ND filters to achieve this?

Thanks for the preview images you posted.

You may wish to post your raw samples to this online database of raw files from various cameras: http://raw.fotosite.pl/ (RAW photo from digital cameras (DSLRs) like Canon, Nikon, Pentax, Olympus etc)

David Kilpatrick asked me to register on the Forum as I am currently reviewing the A900 for a UK magazine and have been testing it over the last few days.

The link below take you to a number of samples - some slideshows and some images (including RAW files).

My background for those who are interested - is a full time professional. I have had my work published worldwide and recently had a number of my images used by camera manufacturers at Photokina to promote their DSLR's. All images taken with the A900 and 24-70mm lens.

The first link below is a slideshow of images taken at Hawkscraig Point near Aberdour. The file is around 16mb (Please note that this does not work on a MAC - sorry trying to find a suitable alternative)

The next set of links are full size tiff files - these are large files, so bear that in mind: (as a side note - I have included all the files on this page as a favour for DK, if you are really interested in A900 high ISO comparisons, download the RAW files as the tiffs were taken for someone else and there was no time to set up a propper ISO test, but inlcuded them because they are availabe.)
