So the Isle of Skye made its way into your bloodstreams and you're an addict following suit Birma and the in-laws! : ) Good for you.
The first shot is a winner for me; the skyline and the ridge look pretty intimidating while the green pushes in, relaxing the whole scene.
It's dreamy shots like these that make these isles attractive to me.
I also like the Black&White treatment of thesecond shot...kind of freezes the time.
In the third shot, I'm not sure that I like having a car in the scene obstructing the gentle curve of the trees and the hills in te distance but your car is suitably blue to match and reflect the blue skies of Skye and that sort of makes it acceptable to my eyes. : )
One should respect a car enthusiast also!

As far as I am concerned most places on the west coast are potential "final home" locations.
Plockton is one and also Applecross especially over the mountain pass (Bealach na Ba) to the south (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bealach_na_Ba)

The car shot was one i wanted to do as it had done the 1600 mile round trip with me! Not bad for a 22 year old £300 car. Interestigly the petrol on that trip cost me more than the car did.
Mike plan to explore further on the coast and the outer Isles next year with any luck!
