Ah that’s probably it Pako, I never bothered with Facebook, I have enough on my plate with keeping up with this place and having a look at what’s going on at dpr, you get the full range there, really excellent posts about cameras but unfortunately mixed in with stuff that isn’t about cameras, plus I have other things to do.

Hi Pako, : )
I never created a Facebook account either. (at least till now) And unfortunately I can't see the photo.
You always find interesting subjects to shoot....so here I am left wondering what you have linked to.

Thanks for that Pako, I’m a bit undecided about the effect really I don’t think it’s my cup of tea, it’s sort of like over contrasted or something, the buildings look really contrasted as well as the sky, but it does take a rather good photo just the same, what FL was used?
Greg
Ps is there a natural version of the photo to compare with?

Weather In Istanbul:
Temperature: 31 C° ; Feels Like 31 C
Wind: 22 KM/S
-------------------------------------------
Still hot in Istanbul and it's 19:31 pm. At least a little cool breeze is filling up the curtains and we feel the better for it. : )
I hope the rain makes way to our parts soon too!
Hi Pako, : )
Now that's a bizarre, undecided sky! Looks like a scene from an apocalyptic movie that are so popular nowadays.
I'm not sure about the HDR effect the camera produced either but I like it that the building facades are in the clear. Not a romantic urbanscape but definitely a movie scene that aims at being more realistic to its viewers, the buildings being rathe ordinary and not landmark of sorts.
Thanks for going to the trouble of linking them here. : ) Worth it!

Re: Weather Today - In Your Vicinity (2012)
Woke up Sunday morning to a slow, light rain. Thanks for sending it over, guys!
Not a lot of precipitation, but is came slw and steady, and the ground soaked it all up, so it didn't run off like it would n downpours.
The ground is still as hard as a brick, except where I've been watering to save the trees and flowers.

The rain that was promised by you all is now in Istanbul...
Thank you everyone!
A couple of shots just before and after the rain started in Istanbul. It's nice and chilling right now. : )

Yildiz,
The second one - Raining St. Sophia is my favorite of the three. I love the separation of dark clouds, sun rays behind,
and a twinkle of sunshine on the boat in the foreground. I am happy for you that the weather will be cooling a bit for you.

Thank you, Sury. : )
We had a couple of rain showers during the day which immensely helped cool down the region.
The scene in the second shot is pretty busy as you say. : ) Moments of change passed very quickly with alternating sky, light and water reflections.
