The Joy of Childhood at the Beach

Watching for the wave, waiting for the wave, it’s funny how occasionally one wave on a beach can scoot a long way further up the beach than the others.

Ps how is the Olympus coming along Henry, happy? the close shots look very good, and the telephoto shots look ok too except that lens seems like it might get affected a little by flare on occasion but not as badly as my KM24-105 does, a lens I really like 90% of the time, great for close work, but it doesn’t handle even shooting towards the light very well never mind getting any light directly on the front element…that’s curtains for sure, instant fog.

I am getting along with it pretty well. So far, no big problems and the size/weight of the body and lenses are great. Which photos are you referring to with the flare?

Henry don’t get concerned about it I’m probably just imagining things, I thought the second at Sandy beach was a little washed out looking and also the second in the next lot with the beach sign the scene on the left of it looked a little washed out and maybe slightly hazy, but neither were at a stage of being a great concern if that is the worst.

No, I was not concerned. I think what you are seeing is just my choices in LR. For both I didn't choose settings as contrasty as in some of the other photos.
